WORLD
In a world where priests called "Geki" offer dance and musical performance to an existence called "Kami” (God) in order to gain recognition for the land's peace and wishes.
Gekis belong to each region's "Maikanazu-No-Yashiro" (Shrine of Dance and Music) and carry out dance and musical performance.
To affiliate oneself with outstanding gekis affects the region's strength, and Maikanazu-no-Yashiro now became an organization bearing the responsibility of being the region's backbone.
In order to become a geki, aside from having the ability to dance, one must also have a mark (birthmark) on their body called "keshin", and each geki has a "keshin" somewhere in their body.
Once every three years, on the first day of the intercalary month on the lunar calendar, "Daishukuen" (The Great Banquet) is held.
It is the highest stage to show each region's strength,and by means of The Great Banquet, by appeasing “Kami” through dance and music, every prayer will be fulfilled.
The only people who could step into the stage of The Great Banquet, "Kaika Maidono" (Enlightenment Hall), are two of the most excellent groups. Each region's gekis has to collect "Gohijirushi" (Secret Mark) that they get by winning dance and musical performance contest in order to be able to go in to Enlightenment Hall, but...?
